I’m now living in Toronto. Toronto is the biggest city in Canada with a population of 2.8 million people. It’s a city with many neighborhoods, for example Chinatown and Little Poland where I live. Toronto is similar to an American city where one sees yellow school buses, big trucks and yellow traffic lights. Toronto is consider by many to be the most multicultural city in the world with more than 50 per cent of the population coming from visible minorities. The longest street of Toronto is Yonge Street, which is 56 kilometers long. My host family consists of Carol, the mother, Todd the father, Paul my exchange student friend and Teddy, his brother.
14th of August: Today my host family and I visited the city center. We drove through the business district and The University of Toronto. We parked at City Hall and took a walk. I discover Roots, a Canadian shop that is very popular in Canada.
Here is Paul and I in front of the Toronto sign.
